CNTLOSE

Well I am more or less testing the waters with selling my 1994 GT 'vert. I do not have to sell her and would rather not. However some priorities have changed and two garage queens does not make much sense right now...not that it ever did. With around $12,000 invested the price is $9500 FIRM. I am not intrested in any trades.

EXTERIOR: I would rate the paint an 8 out of 10. It has the typical Ford fade in areas and normal "rock" chips after 15 years on the roadway. The fade is not noticed by many, but like I said I have OCD. I have yet to find a ding on any panels. I put on an OEM yellow 1998 rear GT bumper on because the '94 GT's have black bottoms and I like the look of solid yellow. I still have the original bumper and it will be included if the buyer wants it. The convertible top is the original. It does not have any rips or tears, but some of the stitching is pulling out. It does not leak and because it is a dry summer only car I never worried about it. I have the soft leather cover for the top as seen in the photos and it is included. The paint on the inside of the trunk has rubbed down to the factory primer, but is only visible with the trunk open. The fog lights work, but the lenses need removed and the insides need cleaned out or replaced. (I have an OEM Cobra front bumper I was going to put on so I did not worry about them. Cobra Bumper can be purchased but is not included.)
NO RUST EVER!
INTERIOR: The interior I would rate also 8 out of 10. The seats are in good shape, no tears, holes, or lean / breakdown. The driver door has a mark on it and the color on the "Up" button on the Mach 460 sounds system has faded. Car has grey carpet and the original grey floormats. I was planing on chaning them to black, but a good steam cleaning would make them look like new. (The black pony mats pictured are not included.) The sunvisors have worn spots on the tops from moving them all the time to put the top up and down. The AC works fine and blows cold like it should.
MOTOR / DRIVELINE: My father and I pulled the motor at 97,5xx miles for no reason other than we like to build performance motors. The motor was tore down to the short block. The cylinder walls showed little to no wear so we did not have the block machined. I purchased the Trick Flow Street Performance Kit with the Stage 1 cam. (Kit includes heads, cam, roller rockers, upper and lower intake.) The kit is rated for 350hp with a 306 block. BBK 75mm Throttle body and CAI. MAC mass air flow sensor set for the Ford Racing 24lb injectors. MAC underdrive pullies, removal of all polution control, MAC unequal length shorty headers, MAC H-pipe with no cats, and MAC mufflers with dumps. MSD coil, Ford Racing plug wires, 255lph fuel pump, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Ford Racing oil pump, Ford Racing clutch w/ adjustable cable, new alternator, and I'm sure a few other things I am forgetting currently. All parts installed are brand new. The accesory brackets were powdercoated a dark grey and the TB was powdercoated black to match the intake.
Suspension / Wheels: Tokico D-Spec shocks and struts, Eibach Sportline Springs, Maximum Motorsports Lower Control Arms, 2000 Chrome Cobra R replica wheels with tires having 85-90% tread life.
With all of the above modifications the car was took to a performance shop where a SCT chip was installed the proper way using an ongoing dyno tune. The car made 301.75 hp to the rear wheels and 336 ft pounds of torque...and that was with the stock 302 not a 306! The car is set to idle at 800 rpm and does not flutter. Because of the BBK TB design it does hold the RPM's when shifting or as you roll to a stop. Then it will drop back to 800 rpm.
The car has never been raced or seen a track of any kind. The car still has the stock rearend and 3.08 gear. I did not build this car to race, simply to enjoy as a summer driver. The car has never overheated or left me stranded. If the car sits for more than a week or so you may get a few drips from the rear seal.
