Was there with a friend who has a 56 gasser Chev. Lots of nice cars. A bit muddy Saturday. I was wondering, if they are only allowing cars 1978 and older into the show this year, why then do they allow these kit car 32-39 Fords made from all Fiberglass and modern technology into the show but pitch a fit about newer cars all the same? After all these kit cars ARE in fact newer production reproductions and/or kit cars. Just stirring the pot a little. LOL!!!

I would think they go by what the title says. They allow either 1970 or 1971 and older in I think. I would hope they would check the year on the title or registration number before they allow the GIVE AWAY car to go to the fiberglass car owner! Good question though considering it was a 34 ford owner that won the give away car and it may have been fiberglass. I bolted out of there as soon as they called the registration number and it wasn't me, again. : ( Chad was your friends gasser the one with no front brakes?

Nope, thankfully His brakes work fine. The car is a sueded greenish/blue primer paint job with areas of gray here and there. It is still a W.I.P. He is working on doing the straight axle next spring. Still has stock 56 front suspension on it. He sold the car then bought it back. Now he has to fix a bunch of things including a creased hood so it will be back to where he had it before. I's a fun car. Not show quality, but not a rat rod either by any stretch. Very solid and rides real nice especially when you factor the age in. They don't make them like that any more.
