ok car was advertised as having a bbk o/r h pipe but after looking at it I'm kinda on the fence so I tried searching for bbk o/h and they look completely different...here's a pic of bbk's H pipe

That unit appears to be an X-pipe. It looks very similar to the Bassani high-flow, catted X-pipe I had on my previous 02 GT. I believe that BBK makes use of this style of X-pipe as well. Some will say that this is not true X-pipe scavenging based on the idea that the original X-pipe design was created in such a way that two pieces of pipe had the sides cut out of them creating slots about the width of a quarter and several inches long then welded together. The pipe are bent so that they come together then separate where the weldsbegin and end. Mac makes (or used to)their X-pipe in this manner described. This is my understanding of this scavenging concept.

thanks guys, hope you can see why I was a little confused...like redfire, my interpretation of an X-pipe was...well, and still is that of two pipes bent inward, cut on the apex of the bend, and welded together or one pipe that crosses straight through the other, not really this hybrid x-h pipe. after looking around it appears a few companies that follow this interpretation are pypes, magnaflow tru-x, UPR, and maybe some others
