Well, since no one posted anything up, I will! Congrats to the Dayton Performance Team for getting my r/s car solidly into the 9's with a 9.78 @138 with only a 1.45 60ft. Do the math, it's right there with the other cars, could be a few things causing the lack of traction. First thing we are going to try is a new set of slicks. I think that will help a bunch for sure. Then we are going to go into some adjustments and get it back to where it used to be before, a 1.30 60foot. This all with an engine that isn't 100%. It will have a new engine setup for next year and will be ready to compete and start moving rounds. If they leave the rules alone, it should be some close racing next year.
Once again Congrats!!!

I saw it on the NMRA live timing, what a weekend for everybody! Congrats Matt for taking that beautiful Fox into the 9's. Should be good next season, looking forward to see what the rules let you guys do.

Congrats on the huge progress! That last run against Matherly might have turned out very different if the car hadn't blown the tires off. Now you just have to hope and pray that they leave the damn rules alone for next season.

Thanks everybody! I know Matt was really happy, and I was jumping around over here in Afghanistan. I finally got the tune worked to where it is making good power but staying alive each pass. Ben pulled a few more percent out of the fuel and they left it alone, after the .78 pass. I have already told Matt what to check on the suspension and it should make some good passes before the end of the season. Once again thanks!

Yeah, for sure. He was lucky most of the season, he didn't get any crap about it.
