Will it clean up at .030" over? If so..that's the bore most off the shelf stroker kit's are based on. Now..to just decide how big you want to go? a 408 is about the biggest I'd go in a stock block.

I've been researching a new motor for my boat and talked to a few guys who build them for their customers. They recommend no more than 418 with a stock block. Takes a pretty stout head to feed a motor that big, so don't skimp out there if you do it.

i'd say a gt40, gt40p or an e7te should work well enough for your 408
wonder how that would do? ... 11.99? ... that would be some funny shit to see ...
