I have heard there is a way to do it without the disconnect set, But i don't remember how. You can purchase a cheap set at auto zone or advance for $4-5.00

The white ones work fine also.

The small plastic ring just below the cap on 20oz pop bottles, cut it off,cut it to length so that it goes around the thicker part of the fuel fitting.Squeeze it down in there, push the two ends together and push the plastic piece in as far as it will go and pull the two apart.might take a couple of tries but I did it at the junk yard with no fitting tools.
Or the 5 dollar el-cheapo's from AZ work great.

Oh,and your close.I could probly help.I have a couple tools here at the house. In colerain.

I have a set of the cheap ones and I'm close to you, as well.

I think you used to live on Edgewood and maybe now live on Main? Or, I have you confused, with another member.
