As most of you know, I have my 6 pony wheels up for trade for a set of welds or something different. I've had several offers made, but one particular board member persistantly pm'ed me all week long just to make sure we still had a deal. I assured him I was going to hold up my end of the bargain eventhough I had to lign up another deal to trade 2 of his wheels for another pair that would actually make a full set for my car. I jacked up my car friday night, put it on jack stands, pulled my wheels off the car, went to my storage building 15 minutes away, and grabbed my extra pair of wheels with the drag radials on them. I then brought them home, and bagged them all 6 up so they wouldnt get my girlfriends 2008 Jeep Liberty dirty inside. Loaded them all 6 up, and hauled them to columbus saturday night. I was supposed to meet up with 87mustangbbb sunday around 1pm at 270 and 71 to make the swap. Well around 9pm saturday night I got a txt informing me that he decided that ponys dont look as good on white cars as they do red cars, so he was going to back out on the deal. I told him I wasnt very happy, and he said "well you didnt make the trip to columbus just for me" eventhough I did. I filled up my girls jeep, because we were making this trip on my account. So, I hauled my wheels to columbus, which was a pain in the ass, for nothing! Moral of this rant, watch who you deal with, make sure they have a decent post count and reputation! And also make sure their wives are ok with the deal too, because he had already told me she didnt want him to trade, but he said he was anyways. Here's a few pics of what he said was really no big deal or trouble for me... Keep in mind it was raining friday night when I pulled these and went to get the other 2 wheels...

I've had people flake on me when I was supposed to pick up transmissions for work. They forgot to tell they were going to Niagara that weekend, the meet point was in Detroit.

While I was dropping of 3 transmissions in Jackson MI, I would have just came straight back home had I known. Needless to say he ended up paying someone else to do the job.

I was only gonna charger $75, he ended up paying $300.

May want to chill out on the name calling till you get a little more time under your belt here. Not really how a new guy needs to act. He went out in the rain and did what he said he was going to do, prob made plans to get what he wanted, involving someone else, then had to tell the guy he was going to buy stuff from he couldn't, making himself look bad because of you.
Its not like you had to buy them. You could have seen them in person and decided you didn't like them but a 20 dollar bill instead of a fuck you would have gone a longer way with the next time you deal with someone. I know you said sorry, but a little money for the trouble would have been better. Hell, he probably wouldn't have even taken it. I am sure he would have appreciated the gesture.
Weather you look at this site as a place to get parts or a place to make friends you want to be civil and treat us the way you would want to be treated. I have got some good parts and advice off of here BUT more important I have made some really good friends and met people that dropped everything (Keith) to come help a broke brother out. I have had people (92stang and his friends) help me on my quad and I went riding around here with Dawson and kevin1989 today. There are a bunch of great people on here but if you don't act right they wont buy from you, wont sell to you, and wont help your ass out when you need it the most.
Just my opinion. You can keep calling people a bitch if you want.... It makes for more interesting reading at least.

Thanks everybody for listening to my rant, I felt better after I put the wheels back on the car today and took it for a drive. By the way, I mounted the dr's, and boy do they work lol. As for the time, I had 2 hours putting the car on the stands, removing the wheels, bagging them up then driving to get the other 2 with the dr's on them and bagging those up too. Then I loaded all 6 into my girls brand new liberty, which she wasnt crazy about but rolled with it anyway. So I never called him a name, but he's gonna go there with it I guess. I'm sure it wouldnt be like that face to face, I woulda already gave him a DIRT NAP after the first name he called me. No I wouldnt have taken his money, I wanted wheels. More importantly I wanted to hold up my end, and I did just that... Katmandu, I'll call you tomorow, been really swamped lately, notch, thanks brother, 1slo92, I'll be txting you shortly.
