Scat makes great products. Most of the threads I've read on the subject says that the quality of materials is the same as Eagle, but the finish machining is better with Scat. That being said, I've bought 2 Eagle forged crank and rod sets and both were spot on and didn't need any additional machine work.

scat is good quality stuff, ive used a bunch of theyre rods and cranks, they usually come with probe pistons.
eagle has brought theyre machining quality up and i wouldnt be afraid to use that stuff either.eagle has switched to mahle brand pistons, use to use srp's.

They are 195cc intake runners. That should match well with the 347 CID. I dont know much about them other than they are roundy round spec heads in alot of classes. I think they need offset lifters. They sound like a great iron head for the money. Google search them and see if they have flow numbers you can compare them to afrs and edelbrocks.
