to hook up or not to hook up

well i picked up a gt40 intake for 50bucks and over thanksgiving im going to swap it (and bigger injtors) on my 91 t-bird 5.0 after that I plan on getting a tune should I block off my egr or keep it???

and should i get a spacer for it???

I say block it. The heck with AL Gore and emissions. HA! I had one years ago stick on a car, and like to never found the little miss it created at the upper end of the RPM range. The EGR was sticking open. A vacuum leak test (thanks to a retired auto-shop teacher I knew from church that clued me in on possible cause) revealed the thing was faulty. Replaced and BAM! No more upper RPM end miss.

EGR delete and have its function turned off when you get it tuned.
