freaking sweet ass game. the fox body is amazing every little interior detail all the way down to the backward facing cobra on the side.

The AI is finaly not like a bunch of monkeys, and the graphics are superb.
my fox is pushing 800+ right now and its so fun

Yeah, for some reason, they don't allow you to go skinny. :(

It is a pretty fun game. I have a BRE Datsun 510 pushing ~300hp on the stock block.

im not too happy, it seems the audio lags a bit sometimes, the interior view doesnt show the hands shifting like F2 did, the replay feature is all messed up and doesnt relate the sound with the view very well, but other than that, its pretty cool :bigthumb:

Anyone figure out how to launch the cars on the drag? My 'Stang keeps having issues getting traction.

lol, yea, thats another problem, even with wide sticky tires, anything with real power is not launchable, but depending on what stang, you can do an AWD swap

my boy (6 years old) and I were racing my #10 tiger racing mustang , got a perfect launch with no wheel spin some how. He ran an 11.40 with it my best was a 12.20. He only did it once and we couldnt figure out how he did it, but no more perfect launches after that.

I got a car down to 10.5x in the 1/4. Trap speed of 161mph. :eek:

Go to the events rather than career. One of the far right columns is drag races. 200hp FWD drags, -> 700 RWD drags.



It was an R2 class, free car I got from Turn 10. I still spin pretty bad in the 60'.


My Audi R8 barely squeaked by on the AWD drags. Looks like the HKS Evo is the one to play with there...

You may have too much HP, or it is the wrong class. In that mode, you might have a 500 FWD Mazdaspeed3, but it won't let you race it until you detune it down to ~250hp.

You may have to back all the way out and go to "free race" on the main menu. There should be a 1/8th, 1/4th and full 1 mile drag strip.
