Split the Flamer rearend in half, broke the driveshaft and lower control arms, ripped a torque box, ruined a slick...bust ass get all that fixed...take it out for a drive...trans is rattling a little...beat on it to see if it would take a pass at the track...rattle gets crazy loud...pull the trans out...tear it down...find 3rd gear and cluster missing 4 teeth...order $500 in parts start taking the main shaft apart then I found out its bent...all this to get a few pass's in with a new 4.30 gear before the tracks close...looks like I have to send the shaft out to get straightened so I am throwing in the towel...I give!!

I understand your frustration, but you gotta realize it's just a hobby and it's supposed to be fun !!! Just take a step back from it for a day or two...

Maybe you need to put the auto in the Cobra in the flamer and put a stick back in the Cobra.

It seems that way...and I thought steve was having some bad luck. Lol

I think I need to quit letting Sue drive it...I tell her she did it. Ha! Ha!

Must not have told ya about that... I made battle boxes and welded them in after pulling the torque box back in and had to weld up where the driveshaft cut through the tunnel:eek: I'm glad I haven't been running the Cobra lately:lol:

I had a fox sitting next to my chevy in the garage...that didn't last very long lol.

That's what I thought but I couldnt remember... I think it has something to do with the cold weather... Seems like a different time and place!
