Cruise to the TRACK!!

Sorry about the short notice.

We are getting a few 2010 Camaros and some other Muscle cars and heading to the track.
Tri-State is a laid back facility and you can usually get quite a few runs in on a Test & Tune. The crowds are usually low so you dont have to be worried about "not doing well" your first time out. All you need to worry about is smoking your tires and banging some gears!!:headbang:

The plan.

Meet at Cincy Speed www.cincyspeed.com at 11:30am and head out around 12. The drive to TS is about 20-30 minutes. The weather is suppose to be Beautiful so the photo ops should be perfect!

Good thing you didn't go. I have regular street tires and they sucked tonight. Spinning 1-3 gear. Best time was 14.0xx @ 110 mph with 25x 60 foot times. Ran three times and called it a night. After tonight I don't know if I will waste my time and money trying to run tomorrow with you guys.

But i got some spray for the car this week but havent got it on the car yet so maybe it will be a quick trip to the 12s.:bigthumb

I'm really bummed now. I have a group of friends with Turbo Dodge's going tomorrow and now this. I won't be able to make it due to a family event and anyway my Throttle body is being fixed right now by Dragon Performance. So I wouldn't have my Cobra to make any 1/4 mile passes or to cruise up with you guys if I could.

I've looked everywhere around here for some in stock, good luck finding them. I bet you could find some 275/40/17 MT drag radials. I have a pair of used Nitto 315/35/17 555r's that are good for some track passes if you're interested.

yeah it was a good time today redfirepearlgt and quiklx it was nice meeting you guys. Well i still couldnt find my 13s pass. the two times i did have a good launch and found all the gears the damn times didnt print out so who knows. But all in all the new shifter i put in last night was hard to get used at first but finally got it and the nittos were better than street tires. Oh i did run a new personal best at a slow 14.21:bigthumb

Yeah. Full weight, heavy wheels. Even had a full tank of gas like a dummy.

That left lane was really slippery. The right lane was just a bit better.
