Will a windshield from an 86 vert fit in a 87 coupe?

I checked windshieldstogo.com and they are priced differently. I think they are different.

Sometimes it's the difference between a rear view mirror glued to the windshield, or mounted to the roof. That's the difference between a 68 Mustang windshield compared to 65-67, different bodies same windshields. These older cars use the same rubber gasket, that's the giveaway.
Sorry, not trying to be contradicting. Just offering some related experience. If you can trial fit it, it might be worth checking.

Was told by a vert owner on this board that I have no reason to doubt, that they are different.

A buddy of mine bought a windsheild for a coupe/hatch and it sits perfectly in the convertible channel.
I think the biggest difference (which may affect the pricing of them new) Is the "trim" of the windshields 87-up cars had the small black dots near the bottom and up the sides, and a different tint at the top (blue-ish color) 86-down cars had straight black lines on the bottom and sides, and the orange-ish tint color....
I've noticed this is pretty standard across the board when it comes to windshields... plus I have an '85 car and an '88 car... so I notice the difference when it came to looking for a piece of glass for my '88...
Hope this helps Jeff!

on cars-part.com that in searching for a windshield, they have a pick, vert or non-vert in the search engine.
That being said, I have to assume that they are different.
So thank you guys for your input.
