Hmmm. I think the 4v combustion chambers are larger so you'll lose some compression and that really depends on what year 2v short block you're gonna use. The stock navi cams aren't to bad, and the take off cobra or gt500 cams are easily found and for most people are more than adaquate for there street/strip cars. Going 4v? Go gorced induction! Lol!

A 2 valve PI engine is approximately 9:1 and they have 44cc combustion chambers. I think the DOHC heads come in around 52cc and I think it would drop the compression ration to somewhere between 8:1 and 8.5:1.
There are a lot of good useful specs here:

It would probably be a pig when it's not in boost. Mine will be in te 9-9.5:1 range with the blower.

You got that right.
Also, both the navi and GT cams are way too mild for any real power, or even moderate power. 96-98 cobra cams are the best factory cams you can get. Well, unless you can find some Cobra R cams.

Why not go with 2V Trick Flow heads and beat up on some 4v's?

well the heads he are getting are dirt cheap. also can find blowers and chargers easier. Could we possibly mill the head 30 thou or more to bump compression?
