Windshield trim removal, sn95

I am trying to fix a leaky windshield and before i get the glass guys to do it i'd like to try. So has anyone ever pulled the black rubber trim off around the windshield in a 94 up? is it removable??

the trim is not what stops the water from coming in and im pretty sure you have to pull the glass on that to get the trim off. can you seal it from the inside? try a product made by 3m its called window weld. it comes in a caulking tube and you should be able to get it at koi or smyth. i know a glass guy you could ask. call jason 314-6166.

MArq....I bet the trim around the windshield fits the glass before its inserted....and if so, you cant pull it without ruining it or pulling the glass.
