Im a huge fan of skiing,, and I know there are some members on sbz that are too. I thought id share that PNS has started doing the first test and tune snowmaking tonight. The season isnt to much farther away! :bigthumb

Last year they opened about now. Earliest ever. My wife just got out of ski patrol over there after about 15 years and 2 knee replacements. Personally I like there chili and fries.

That's a good site to see but I think it's going to be another 2 weeks before they have a shot at opening. We've been spoiled the last 3 or 4 years with them opening up around Thanksgiving or just a little bit latter. Unfortunately I think it will probably be the 11th or 12th this year.

yea, they opened the 22 last year, it was the earliest EVER.

no, im out of Dayton, about 1 hour and 10 minutes drive, but I still go twice a week :)

It was the 26th...the day before Thanksgiving. It was the first time they ever opened before Thanksgiving but missed being their earliest opening ever by 1 day. When I got back from diving in October I had hopes that they would be open by the 20th or 21st but then it warmed up. :(
