Not sure if you guys wanna read about this one or not. As some of you knoe, I'm more of a bike freak than a stang freak, and I'm a huge stang freak! That being said, I already have a gsxr 1000 that spits out well over 240 hp on the nitrous. I had to sell my busa to get outta a payment, then bought this bike to build outta pocket. Since then I've always dreamed of getting another busa and turbo'ing it. Well 2 months ago I bought another busa, a 99. I've been tearing it apart for the last 4 weeks, sellin stuff off of it to help fund it. I'm building a custom turbo system, lowering it and stretching the hell outta it. If you'd be intrested in seeing this one come together, let me know and I'll continue to post it with pics... I'm aiming for around 300 hp with this build on a STOCK motor, and will build the motor next winter to handle tons more boost, with hopes of 400+ hp then...

Well, I started with a 1999 Hayabusa with 12,000 miles on the clock. Its gotta be off, because it was geared like a mofo, just how I like em lol. I figure around 9000-1000 miles myself. Anyhow, its stock with alot of heavy chrome. It had a Roaring Toyz slash cut full exhaust, and 4" stretched arm. Heres a pic of it with my sweetheart on it the day after I got it...

I had to flavor it up a lil so I could ride it for the rest of the season, so I lowered the front, raised the rear a lil, ditched a front brake side, cleaned it up, tuned it in a lil better and added some special order decals to flavor it up. I thought the theme was perfect for what it's gonna be, The Punisher!!! lol...

I started selling the parts off of it that I wont be using, so the exhaust, the chrome wheels and the 4" stretched chrome arm were sold. I bought a 8" stretched tailsection, and a 4" stretched belly wing for it and slapped those on, deffinitely made it look way way better, even on the stands... lol...

Heres a couple pics of it right now...

I know I mentioned my 1k earlier, and I'm actually using the wheels off of it for this bike, its a huge mod to do because the 1k wheels are way way lighter than the stock busa wheels. Heres a pic of my 1k with the wheels I'm swapping onto my busa. The 1k's getting a pimp set of 5 blades polished, and even lighter lol... Thats actually fastnotch2002's busa beside me lol, she's a beauty too!

That stock motor will handle 300. There is a stock motor bike in Louisville making like 313 and it ran 8.3's. And it's been together for a while.

My buddy's busa made 330 to tire Has been together for 2 years.

Yea stock rods and pistons will hold in the 300-330hp range just fine. The cranks are good to 500 hp. I'm gonna low boost this one this year and keep her around 300 hp, then next year I'm throwin in some carillo rods and new low comp pistons as well as head studs and such and will be boosting the hell outta it. I'm aiming for 28 lbs of boost next year, so well over 400hp. I know a few guys that are pushing in the 600 hp range, and they have to take boost away just to make the bike useable, so I'm gonna shoot for high 400 hp range and call it good for now lol...

Well I picked up 2 stock busa swingarms today. I'm gonna cut the two up and make one 10" extended swingarm out of it. I gotta get with a local fab shop to weld it up for me, I dont have my own aluminum welder so I gotta pay the piper... I'll post pics later of the arm construction, tell me this isint a budget build from hell!!! lol

Sounds like my wife she will do anything to make me happy she the best I am lucky to have her. Not a big fan of busa's but i gotta say that is one good lookin bike. Keep us posted man. And I have to agree you are crazy I had a 2003 r1 with little stuff done to it and it made 197hp and that thing was nuts!! Good luck with the build man!! And when you get it done be careful!! I took a spill on mine and it wasn't good that's why i deiced to sell her.

Well, I started hacking into the arms yesterday. I have the box chopped off the arm I'm gonna use, and am gonna cut the ends off of it tomorow. After that, I'm gonna chop the extension pieces from the "donor" arm, and get them prepped to weld on. The arm will end up 9" extended which will work perfect for the 8" extended tail. After that, it's polish the arm, frame and get those 1k polished wheels on it! Then it's turbo time!!! I'll post pics of the arm progress tomorow...

Well the arm goes to the fab shop to get tigged this week! Cant wait to get my hands on it to bling it up! I'm shopping right now for some tubing to make underbracing on it too. I also picked up a painter tail from fastnotch, thanks bro! I'm gonna start cutting the two up, and hopefully end up with an extended tail that I can still use my seat/solo cowl with! I think my g/f's more excited about this part lol...

There was a bike that had similar fairing's on it there, but had a matching trailer. I took a few pictures of it. had the similar Jack daniel stuff all over it

That was me with my Gixx 1k, the bike I'm stealing the wheels off of for this one lol, but last couple times I was there I was burning up clutches, spinning tires and having shifter troubles which made for SLOOOOW passes lol. All fixed now, but I try for milan or muncie more lol... As for the trailer, Aarons neighbor has it now. I'm going for one that hauls atleast 2 more, sits lower and matches the new rig :bigthumb

Man i gotta be honest...i don't have the balls to ride something that still has the power to snap the front end off the ground at 180mph

What the hell do you do if you get tank slap going that fast? I guess you just hope you die so you don't have to live through healing all the road rash.

NOPE! When in doubt, throttle it out! Lol seriously though, I wear leathers, and my bikes all have steering dampners to prevent that. Plus, running the front end strapped, you never get any hint of slap:bigthumb

hard to use much more than that, don't know what the heck your gonna do with 400 whp lol

this was my top gps'd speed on my n/a bike, never really went nuts with my turbo'd

NICE Terry, yea after you do it a few times you get bit by the bug. You do it, then you have to do it better and better, faster and faster lol... Well I got the new rear wheel mounted on the 1000 lastnight, so as soon as the arm gets back from the weld shop, it's time to set up the busa reas suspension. This week I'm working on the front wheel on the 1k, so as soon as it's mounted, I'll be hookin up the busa. I'll snap pics as I go with it... Looks like it's about time to start polishing some shyt!

i HAD a 01 cbr600f41 that was a beast. i only weighed about 130 when i rode and i got that sob to 176mph on 675. then i set a wheelie down on 35 by woodman at 110mph and got tank slapped so bad it shatterd my left hand and broke my right thumb. hitttin the asphalt at about 90 with only jeans and a white tagless tee. had road rash on about 60% of my body. picked the bike up, mfer started right up, and i rode back to boro. needless to say, the roadrash was about 10000000 times more painful that the breaks. always rode with a dampener after that. but anyways, i am a huge bike fan, and this build is the shit. used to ride up in dayton at the oregon with a guy that had a turbo'd busa, he weighed about 450lbs. and that this would pass at me 130 like i was sittin still. good luck
