If anybody would like pics from the build, I have tons of them. I have pics to verify the internals of the engine, the heads, everything. I think I even still have the sheet with the flow numbers for the heads around here somewhere.

I'm gonna start parting it out so let me know what u want. I'll pull parts as there paid for. I'd like to sell the car as a roller. Rather than pick it apart.

12-29-2009, 01:08 PM
would you sell the hood?
blown96cobra
12-29-2009, 02:35 PM
317 Short block $2000. I have a reciept for 4000
fox lake prepped trickflow heads were 3k new so I think $ 2000 is fair
trickflow trackheat upper and lower with bbk 70mm tbody & egr $350
1 3/4 mac ceramic coated longtubes $250
3in vrs xpipe $100 $175 with flowmasters
17 in cobra r's with new tires-$450
I would sell the car as roller for $2800.
Hit me up with what u need. 740 222 8745.

I have a heater box assembly you can have if needed . It might help entice a potential buyer having the option to put heat and ac back in it.

I already got one but my heater in the garage took a crap. Its just been to cold to get out and do it. It wouldnt be so bad but the cage goes down through the dash so its just going to be a pain. I may do it this weekend in a friends garage.

In the process of an efi to carb swap. This should bring it to life. I also have the heaterbox for the car but have absolutely no idea how to reinstall it since I didn't take it out.
draggin50
01-01-2010, 04:22 PM
They arent bad to put in really. Once you get the dash out of the way it pretty much falls into place. Why are you going to a carb setup?
blown96cobra
01-01-2010, 08:59 PM
Couldn't get the efi to work right. I'm just tired of messing with it. Carbs so much easier and make tons of power.
draggin50
01-01-2010, 09:17 PM
Ive had my share of both and I still prefer the FI over carb due to the driveability. Carbs seem to be the cheaper way out and do make the power though. It just sucks having to change over everything. Good luck with it. So are you going to keep it now?
blown96cobra
01-02-2010, 08:57 AM
No I'll still get rid of it I just couldn't dump it on someone else the way it was running.

01-04-2010, 12:56 AM
how does it run? did you get it dynoed?
blown96cobra
01-04-2010, 12:28 PM
Not sur yet. I'll have it done tomorrow. My friend has almost the exact same setup in a lx and it ran 6.51 in the 1/8. Anything under 7 and I'm happy.
