Every now and then I like to watch a really good older movie. Today I pulled out my old VHS copy (literally had to wipe the dust off of it) of a 1980 movie "Ordinary People" with Mary Tyler Moore, Donald Sutherland, Timothy Hutton and Judd Hirsch.
This movie got the academy award in 1980 for best picture. It has always been one of my favorite movies, but since I haven't seen it in a number of years I had forgotten just how good it was.
It's a hard movie to watch, but the writing and acting is fantastic.
