Need some help: Awhile back i purchased a used Dss Probullett 306, which has a Anderson ford motor sport N-61 roller cam (cam specs below). The guy that was running this combo was running a carb and an old school weiand roots blower on it. The motor is going to be going in a 94-95 and will be fuel injected w/ a turbo setup. I was told this cam will work but is not the friendliest for my application. What cam does everyone recommend for my application? Keep in mind this will be a street driven car and will only hit the strip 1-2 times a year.
My current setup:
Explorer gt-40 heads (will be switching to trick flow heads later on in the future)
holley system max intake
75mm throttle body
60 lb injectors
custom turbo kit w/ master power t-76 turbo (.96 ar housing)
355 gears (was told to switch to 373?)
CAM SPECS: p/n N-61 302-331 c.i.d. Best performer for 302 c.i.d. at 6200/6500 shift point. Great with TFS or Edelbrock heads 24 or 30lb injectors and 80mm mas air. Recommend 4.10 or 4.30 gears. Good drivability down to 2200 rpm, lumpy idle, rpm range 2500-6500, needs 2800 to 3100 converter. Must use AFM valve springs.
