That's all well and good, but it is not economically feasible, at this time. We can by oil, from various regions of the world, cheaper than producing this oil. The oil companies are making strides, to be able to produce it more cost effectively, but the technology still isn't there. It WILL happen.

It is, however, nice to know it is there, should it become necessary to tap in to.

We don't want to use all our oil. First we depleat the worlds supply then we monopolize the market. When the rest of the world runs out of oil we will have the best economy ever.
