Might be getting a little ahead of myself but Im pretty sure I am just going to try to unload this. My girlfriend calls me at about 6:30am 20 minutes after she left the house and says "my car just died while I was driving down the highway" I said "damn, that sucks! what the hell you waking me up for":lol: Anyways she said she was going down 71 and it just "died" and she costed to about 100 yards from the Kenwood mall exit. I jumped in the truck to go get her and heres what I know when I get there it cranks and cranks but just wont start. doesnt even sound like it is hiting at all just turns over, but Im no mechanic nor do I care to be. she has about 3 months of school left till she has her RN. her days of driving beaters are over. It has around 180k on it. just put 2 tires on it last month:mad: and she filled the tank yesterday:mad: I will get some pics of the car when I go to pick my GF up from school. It is siting in the parking lot of Kenwood mall. I pushed it in there with my ranger in rush hour traffic:bigthumb

Here she is. 186k 4cly 5spd. i broke the taillight this morning pushing it with my truck. lol. Did some looking around on ebay and stuff looks like the fiberglass top is worth a few hundred bucks? She said the soft top has cracks in the plastic window. tried to jump it but thats not the problem. Dont know whats wrong with it and dont care to fix it just want it gone fast. if it dont sell in a few days im going to put the top on ebay and sell the car for scrap.

Common issue is for the timing belt breaking on high mileage cars. So this is an easy fix for someone.

If I only had the cash, I would already be there.

I just put this on craigslist about half hour ago and I have had about ten people already tell me it is the timing chain. lol This should be gone tonight I hope there are several people on there way to look at it right now but I told them all the same thing, first one to hand me the cash gets the title. I dont hold nothing for nobody!

If you don't sell it fast, I'd suggest listing it over on the board at grmotorsports.com. Those guys love 'em. I'd buy it if I didn't have two project cars, and am in the middle of a search for a DD for my wife.

Oh, and for some reason, I seem to recall some of them had a semi-common, easy to fix, ignition issue, maybe coil or crank position sensor.

It sold. apparently way to cheap! lol. I had about a dozen emails on it in the first 10 mins it was listed and went to meet the first guy who said he had cash. He bought it right away. I just got back home and had over 30 emails!

Sucks man. I put it on this site as soon as I got home from taking my GF to school when It died. I was on here all day and I have a couple PMs from people tryin to low ball me! As soon as she hit CL that evening I couldnt keep up with the emails of people wanting it right then. hell, I even had people offer more than it was listed for if i would hold it a few hours! wish i would have know there was that much of a hot race market for them I would have tryed to get more. I AM STILL GETTING EMAILS ABOUT IT! but in the end my main goal was to get rid of it right away with out having to tow it or mess with it anymore and thats what happend. anyways. LOCK THE THREAD SHE IS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
