If you didnt reinforce your tourqe boxes do that. Dont forget to set your pinion angle. I like to run as much tire i can fit and with as much side wall.

You can solve alot of it with a good electronic boost controller and limit the boost per gear

You could do that but then you car would be slow. All he needs is some ET streets or quick time pros

I agree with Metcalf! I also know he prefers Quick time pro's lol... Why take power away to go fast, why not spend a lil on rubber and suspension to make what you have work!:bigthumb

The way i was figuring is based on slick or DR and a good suspension. and to be able to modify how the car leaves so it doesn't blow the tires off for poor track conditions or the street.

Slicks or Quick Time Pros will be the best money spent. I had a set of bfg drs on my auto trans am. It would spin through second on the street and I made the switch to qtps and now its Serious out of the whole on the street

I personally dont like QTP's.. For a DR i'd use Mickey T's ET Streets and for a slick ET Drag's

As for the suspension, I'm going to be using all Team Z stuff. If your more worried about money UPR has good stuff and its a little cheaper than Team Z
