ok so im driving down the road in my 94 stang with the windows down not really showing off or anything and i come up to this redlight and this cummins diesel with this huge fuckn loud ass exaust next so my window i said to a buddy of mine watch this gaurenteed hes gunna try and pour all kinds of black smoke in my car so the light turns green and i get on it a little to avoid his exaust sure fuckn enough a huge ass cloud of smoke starts pouring out of this truck and these two asswholes are laughin in the cab lets just say they wouldnt get out of the truck that kinda shit just really pisses me off no respect at all i mean what the hell yah know.

I constantly run into know it all snot nosed punks that dont know the difference between a lifter spyder and a flux capacitor! So you can imagins the amount of ricers, and deisels running around. For some reason, they think shooting unburnt fuel out of the pipe is building power, and also cool to them. I drive a lifted 4x4 ram 1500, and my 91 GT. I always get piped in my truck, and one night my girl and i were in the gt when we got piped and smoked out. SO I smoked around them to the next light, power braked it, dumped the clutch, held it and threw rubber all over their front end. They didnt do anything afterwards lmao...

I dunno maybe not since semis can get away with it, but i think because trucks don't come off the light blowing like a coal powered train there might be some law against it. It probably has to do with having a smoke stack pipe instead of a tail pipe. Smoke stacks are NOT illegal in most states. You just can not have them sticking out of the hood (like in pulling trucks). They have to be behind the cab. At one time, my Cummins had a 5" straight pipe coming out in FRONT of the RR wheel! It was so LOUD my wife refused to ride in my truck! (Not a bad thing sometimes!). I got tire of the RR wheel being BLACK all the time so I moved the exhaust to the back.

BTW, there are laws about VISIBLE smoke being emitted though. That does apply to ALL vehicles! Again, it depends on the State and Juristiction you're in.

Smokin' out a PUNK in a RICER is worth the $$ of ANY ticket!! :lol:

I had to sell it off several months ago. :( I had a pretty bad back injury and could no longer drive a stick shift. A few weeks later, my back unexpectedly healed up. :rolleyes:

It was modded to hell and back. Mike (Dayton Performance) can attest to that. He Dyno'd it. :bigthumb I don't remember the exact #s... 325HP/750TQ I think... ? I had more mods done after that and it was "estimated" to be throwing down around 400HP and around 900lbs of RAW TORQUE! :D

Personally, I don't like diesels blowing shit loads of smoke in the air either. I think it looks like crap too. I always "tried" to limit the amount of visible smoke my truck was spewing. You can do it be feathering the loud pedal. It really depends how the fuel system is "modded". Gets kinda technical...
