can you run an E cam with un-notched pistons without PTV clearance issues? I would rather not invest in one unless I am fairly certain.
Maybe even just a standard HO cam?

Hmm, good question. I remember someone asking about clearence, and for some reason .125 comes to mind on a stock h.o. motor to me. If you wanna try a stock H.O. cam, I have one of those, and I also just posted a non roller cam on here too...

I know that on an 86 flat top motor (no valve reliefs) that I had the e-cam was too much lift.... would think yours would be the same, although I know not all motors are the same and to be sure you should check the clearence on yours.

I Think I will just go to HO pistons. That will cure all ailments and allow me to run all kinds of crazy cam.

Or a nice set of aftermarkets too, then throw all kinds of lift to it lol:bigthumb

You can always get a piston relief cutter and cut stockers deeper! :D
