So i'm trying to decide what direction to take on my steering. Since i am completely rebuilding my suspension i been playing with the idea of going manual. Has anyone done this and liked the out come or should i just stick with the power and go with a performance rack.

If you plan to drive it, just leave it power... and I think a newer mustang GT rack has a better steering ratio. Something from like an '89 or something.
Hows the front end rebuild going?

Well, do you run skinnies or wide tires all around? I run manual racks so I don't have to fool with the pump and lines and it saves weight. If you aren't interested in any of those reasons, then put a nice power rack back on it. Get one from a GT from advance or one of those places, it will have the good ratio.

I swapped mine to a manual rack.I love it.Screw all the lines and pump bullshit. It gives me WAY more space, and its looks so much cleaner under their.
I dont have skinny's yet,but it steers just fine with 225's on the front.

With where you live, and where you park... a manual would kinda be a bitch to steer while not moving.
