I would not recommend doing business with him.
Twice now he has contacted me in regards to the turbo stuff I'm selling, and neither time has come through. That in itself isn't a big deal, because obviously people ask about parts all the time. The problem I have is what happened the second time.
Yesterday he calls me to ask more about it, and starts talking about meeting up so he can check the stuff out. I say ok, even though I had plans for the evening. He says he's very serious about buying the stuff and he'll call me at 5 to figure out where to meet. So I reschedule my plans for the evening for next week.
5 rolls around, no call. 5:30, no call, 6, no call. So I send him a text message asking if we're still on. He replies he's not sure, and he'll let me know in a little bit. 8 rolls around, still no word. I send him another text and this time get no reply. Still haven't heard anything today.
Ordinarily I'd just let this slide, because it's really not that big of a deal. It was annoying to have to reschedule stuff, but sometimes that happens. The problem is, after talking about this with some friends, this has happened to more than a few people. Every one of them said they won't deal with the guy again, and some have even told him things are sold when they're not, just to get him to go away. It seems that unless you're selling something cheaper than any person on the entire internet, you're just going to end up with a headache and a lot of wasted time.
So unless you're fine with dealing with this type of thing, I'd advise not wasting your time.

Hey Paul,
He bought my kit this morning. For the most part it was a good transaction. I suppose I did have the lowest price brand new turbo kit in the world. I would do business with him again but I guess each transaction is different.
Bill
Thats really eff'd up. He should have not jerked Paul around twice over it then.

Yeah it would have been nice to pick up the phone and give him a call at least.
Nice. why exactly does a fellow stangbanger feel the need to jerk around another one?

I can't fault the guy for buying something else at all, but as others have so eloquently said... I don't appreciate being jerked around over it. I don't live my life to cater to the wants of others.

First off I never said I was for sure coming? Anybody that knows me I don't mess around if I want something I buy it! Second off I never said I'll be there at such and such time and last but not least I could care less what people say on this website cause ever since vinny's been gone this website has gone downhill! I do more transactions then most people on this website and your the the first person to bitch! So those are my two cents and I'm over this subject

I think what it all comes down to is a little bit of jelousy cause most people on here have these big hopes and dreams on all there cars and then they see more go through 4-5 mustangs a year and they become haters and believe me I don't screw anybody and when it comes to selling mustang parts stangbangerz really isn't the place racingjunk is where people have the money to spend! So pauls408 I'm sorry u can't sell your turbo kit on here or craigslist maybe it's overpriced or maybe it's just isn't very good quality so good luck with your sale

No jealousy at all.People have lives, and to not show up for a guy that rearranged his schedule is childish.

Ron that is the point Paul is trying to make. Yes I assumed you were not interested but when you tell me you are going to come on a certain day to look at something, a simple call or text to say you changed your mind is just common courtesy. We all understand that people change their minds but it is nice to hear it rather than sitting around all day waiting for somone to show.

The lack of courtesy drives me nuts. Lately I have had 2 different guys pm me a offer on an intake, i accept the offer, then never hear from them again. Why make an offer if you have no intention of buying. Some people ya know!!!

You have that little respect for other people that you think you can just no-show and not be considered a jackass?

I don't put alot of weight in anybody I deal with that I don't know, that way I don't get upset when they don't call me back. Because of this, I have no problem selling it to someone else if that person doesn't keep in contact with me.

Everyone on here can say what they want about me almost everyone who has replied to this thread don't even know me! Ask chad393na if I screw people around and to pauls408 I would leave the website cause everyone knows this website isn't what it used to be in my opinion it's just as bad as cincystreetscene where all these young guys just talk crap because there jealous and all they can be is bench racers!

I've been guilty of forgetting to decline on things in the past...it's an easy mistake and one that i try very hard not to do but it happens. I know i've stood up a couple people on here and i'm sorry for it...but if you're not interested in something you've said you were on, then you really should contact the person and let them know. Of course, most people know better than to hold things for people but you could potentially be ruining a sale for someone if you leave them hanging while another person could be wanting it and not try for it because you got dibs first.
