I would look into doing a PI swap, taking the 99-04 heads/cams/intake. It's usually good for about 35-40 HP and 15-20 TQ. Here's a hell of a deal on PI parts right here... http://www.stangbangerz.com/forums/showthread.php?p=541034#post541034

Keep in mind with 99-00 Heads you'll need the 13/14 bolt Windsor valve covers as well. Good luck!

Here is what I would do.

1.Buy a profesional products intake off ebay, or a nicer one as long as its metal not that plastic shit, 24# inj Matching MAF

2.4.6 loves the gear and dont fear it 4.10 all the way.

3.Then just stick a 75 shot on it.

4.Tuner

5. Cams/ or P.I swap
Im no 4.6 guy but from what I read this will make a cheap and fast little car, exspecially for the money you got in it.

With the PI intake and cams in your motor, the PI heads themselves won't do a lot for you. You would see a slight increase in hp from the compression bump over the NPIs.

I picked up a 98 GT vert a few weeks ago for a good price, and my bro already is shipping me a PI intake he got at U pull and pay for $30. I'm hoping to get a set of PI cams for cheap, and I have a set of steeda pulleys I bought off here for $75 headed my way(I moved out to STL, MO for chiro school). When I can afford it, I'll put a set of 3.73s in it. Hopefully it should be at least a mid 13 sec ride then after I get a good tune from Precision Autosports. I already have an MGW shifter on it that I got off SBZ for $100. It is blows away the UPR unit I had on my old 96.

I've been broke for a long time now, so I always try to make sure I research what will give me the most bang for the buck before I spend my money. The PI intake and cams will give you almost all of the full PI swap hp gains for less than half the price. Pulleys are a good bargain when you get them cheap, especially the non-piggyback type. Gears one of the best mods you can make, but they can be kind of pricey if you don't set them up yourself. There's plenty you can do to make it faster for not a lot of money.

I've read about a lot of people that spend all kinds of money on every single bolt-on, plenum, TB, MAF, exhaust, etc. and they're pissed because their car is still slow. Had they spent more wisely and bought a few simple mods like cams and gears, they would have been faster and spent less. That's not to say that some of those things won't help in the long run, but for right now some of the stock parts like the MAF, and TB aren't really hurting you all that much that I would spend money on new ones right away. Your stock injectors should be fine for a little while too.

That is an awesome deal! I saw that the other day, and if I had the extra coin right now, it'd already be en route here.
