Has anyone put a X cam in a mostly stock motor.I dont wanna hear its not the right cam or it wont make power.I dont care about either of those replies. The motor now has a f cam with crane valve springs.Explorer upper and lower..Just a couple bolt ons really.I dont like the sound of the f cam.So can thos x cam be fittied into the pretty much stock motor with valve springs? Thanks

My 302 went 12.8 with very little traction with my 351 heads, a duel plane intake and an X303 installed straight up. With good traction i know it would've gone 12.5 or better. It did feel a tad soft until about 3k but it pulled like crazy to 6k.

Here's a video of that pass if you wanna see it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Opa1JPaU_Zg

I had an X in a 92 stock bore block with Speed Pro flat-tops and World Products (new and un cut) heads with 2.02" intakes, and had ample clearance to rev 6,500.
