I jus bought a 96 gt yesterday,today after work I bought the PI swap for this car,well it came with the intake which has the coil on plugs to use this do I need to change the computer or how do I make this work or will it work can I get a little help here and can someone fill me in if they have done the PI swap thanks Mike.

if it already has an PI intake then all you need is the heads and cams. can reuse your stock computer. just will need a tune on it. Use the stock coil packs again too. The intakes with the aluminum crossovers are most desired. Will have to tap a hole for the second coolant sensor usually done by the thermostat. I believe the coolant tube out the back of the water pump is a little different but can't remember.

yea the coolant tube that comes out the back of the water pump is different. on the pi set up in curves down lower to miss the intake.

Just use your coil packs with the plug wires. You don't have to use the COP system if you don't want, but you can if you want to.
