Before anyone says anything, I demand pics!

Nice pickup man, I've found myself digging around on autotrader at times to see what these are going for.

CAI and tune will get you around 25-35 rwhp, delete plates (never did any before and after tuning) but the sotp meter it pulled harder up top and I saw an ET reduction, the downside is my mpg went down about 1 to 1.5 mpg. My car had the delete plates,CAI,UDPs,4.10s and some suspension work it went 12.5s at 109-110. the car had more ET in it with suspension work (I think 12.20s with the power level).

I went FI so I never got to maximize the combo, I was right around 300 rwhp.Same bolt ons plus cams and LTs, the 3vs are around 350 rwhp. With suspension work alot of owners are cracking 11s and bottom 12s.

nice pickup. most do CAI, tune and exhaust. nice set of wheels wouldn't hurt either :bigthumb
The FRPP Hot Rod cams sound pretty beastly and LT's will gain you some also.

CAI, exhaust, and a tune shoudl all work fairly well. Markcore picked up a bunch of power with the Comp Thumper cams

I love Windveil Blue!

Hey Chris I have a brand new JLT intake up here at the shop for that car if you are interested just give me a call 937-396-2946. We can discuss the best plan for you on that car. Nice find!

If you are going N/A 420 rwhp is possible with the stock short block. I would do stage 3 heads, stage 3 cams, long tubes, x pipe, cat back, pullies, CAI, and some gears. If you want boost I would go with a turbo from hellion or a twin turbo kit from THP.

I have stock parts as well to fix your car.

Yeah Chris, we've got that JLT in stock and an Xcal 3 would get you some great power. Get with Matt or Ben and get it up there.

Hey Chris,

My 06 sits at 360rwhp/350rwtq with the following mods

JLT cold air intake
BBK 62mm throttle body
CMCV Steeda delete plates
Comp Thumpr cams
Steeda under drive pulleys
BBK long tube headers
BBK o/r Xpipe
Borla Stinger axle backs
SCT Xcal tuner with custom Dayton Performance tune

...I wouldn't bother with the TB if I were you. The 3hp gain for the price and tuning headache isn't worth it.

You are gonna love it! Get yourself a shifter too. The stocker leaves lots to be desired. With bolt on's (JLT intake, CMCP deletes, Mac LT's with off-road Prochamber, and a tune I made 310/317. Duplicating Markcore's numbers would have been pretty easy with a set of thumper cams like he has. His car is a blast to ride in, I haven't had the pleasure of driving it myself though.

I was going to go the N/A toue but once I saw the Saleen S/C packages available @ Brenspeed I had to have one. First major impulse purchase I have made since I was 18 and still don't regret it one bit. I think I was 18 once. LOL! Makes 429 RWHP/ 409Torque on the stock block running 6.5psi dyno confirmed and you can barely hear the thing when it cranks up.

If you are looking for a CAI I happen to have one that was not able to be used with my S/C upgrade. It was one of the special order packages available at MD motorsports. You come get it and you can have it. It is VERY similar to the JLT package. Ken at MD can sell you a tuner package with the custom tunes for unit. I need to clean the garage out of a thing or two.

BTW - Brenspeed is releasing a 5.0 liter stroker short block on April one for around 3299. It is supposed to have all forged internals, etc. THey are also goignto be offereing a longblock as well but no pricing yet.

I am getting the Stage 2 muther thumpers put on in March. I am going to take it to Brenspeed for the install and have MD do the tuning. I will post up numbers.

The boys at Bren know their stuff. Brent is one of the best on S197 mustangs. I went to them for my Saleen setup. PLanning on going with their 5.0 short block if the job holds steady Spring 2011. Those thumper cames are very, very nice.

Don't mention it. Like I said, Ain't nothin' but a thang!!!!! Let me know if you ever need any help. BTW I also happen to have a pair of stovk exhaust that came off of a 2006 Mustang GT Califorinia special. They aren't any louder but they do have the polished rolled tips. They're yours if you want them, unless you have other exhaust ideas. I used them for about 6K. I knew I forgot to mention them when you came over. Sorry. Let me know.

See ya!

Nobody mentioned gears? I would use kooks headers too, they are easy to install, fit perfect and work great.

Please dont tell me your going to drive that far without a tune? I personally would have whoever is doing the install dyno tune it.

I doubt Brent @ Brenspeed would allow the sale and install of those cams if he wasn't going to load their tune for that mod before it left their facility. BTW the new place is like a palace!!! It is very nice and the guest house they provide free of charge if you have to stay over night is a real added bonus.

I am borrowing a buddys trailer. They are loading one of their internet tunes for the cams. I will have it put on the dyno at MD to get everything perfect.
