[/URL]Im looking to buy this set of rims and tires off ebay. They are the 04 cobra rims. I was woundering if a 17x10 would fit in the rear and a 17x9 up front.

is it bad to remove your quad shocks?

not bad at all as long as you have aftermarket control arms. if not you might get wheel hop. If you haven't done control arms, do them, LOL or just flip the quad shocks around so the tube of the shock is to the inside of the wheel. should give you the needed clearance.

That ad is all kinds of jacked up. If you go down and look at the details it says the fronts are 17x10's too.
Most aftermarket 17" mustang rear wheels are 17x10.5", but these may actually be 10". Kind of like the Saleen SC reps. I'd be careful either way though. 10's fit a lot easier than 10.5's although plenty of guys are running the 10.5's fine.
If you have stock front control arms too, you might have some rubbing issues on the inside of the wheel if it's a 17x9 with that offset.
