4v cobra 1/4 mile estimate

Im curious on what i should run in a 1/4 mile on street tires and drags. I have a 99 mustang cobra with the following mods, 2004 cobra heads, jlt cai,
sct sf3 tuner, bbk off road x-pipe no cats, magnaflow side exhaust, 0.020 bore with a 5.0l forged stroker kit, 4:10 rear diff gears. let me know what you think...

...and tires. With out sticky tires I would be surprised to see better than a low 14 or maybe a high 13.

I would say a little faster than that, i went a 14.24 in a geared(3:73) gt 5 spd on street tires.

What power did you put down?

Im getting it dyno tuned in a week to find out what kind of power it should be pretty close to 400 if not more

I had a buddy run 13.30's in his on street tires back in 00 all it had a off road pipe and the recall fixed

IRS or SRA?

As a point of reference my Mach has gone 12.97 @106.6 on DRs with and still stock drivetrain (no tune, 3.55s).

On street tires with just a gear that sounds about right. Gear swap isn't gonna do THAT much for the ET.

I ran 12.40's with a full weight 99 Cobra on 17" Nitto Dr's. Still had the stock IRS in it. Mods were Bassani X, Dynomax cat back, 4.30 gears, underdrive pullies and a tune (305 rwhp and 308 rwtq). Change that rear gear to a 4.56 or 4.88 and with a solid axle and slicks you should be able to get it into the 11's pretty easily. 4.10's are about the worst gear for a Cobra. You'll be crossing the traps only part way through 4th gear.
