So I need to pull a set of spindles off a car at the junkyard. I got every nut and bolt off of them, but they wont come off of the ball joint. Anybody got any tips on removing these?

You need regular fox 5.0 spindles or something else? I have a set of fox 5.0 spindles
Either way, take the balljount nut off, then screw it on a couple threads, bring a 5lb sledge with you and bam... piece of cake. a Butane torch may help you too

They are coming off an 01 GT. Im gonna try a hammer tomorrow. The A arm is only holding the spring in by the sway bar, other than that everything else is gone.

I already have 01 GT PBR calipers, Im running OEM 8" wheels so the extra track width wont hurt me.
Edit: Damit, this is the second time in a row I've posted on the wrong account!

You need a pickle fork (aka ball joint seperator) Goes between the ball joint and spindle. You just drive it in with a hammer. Should pop right apart>
You getting your parts from pull n pay?

Yea, I enjoy cruising the junkyards so I get what I can when I find it. I just put a bolt back on the strut and spindle and disconnected the sway bar so the spring was the only thing on the control arm and beat it down with a hammer.. popped right out!
