Water pumps

What is the diff between 302 truck water pumps vs mustang water pumps? They look the same and they both are the same rotation. Is the pulley location different or something?

I dont know about the truck ones but the older Thunderbird ones had a different bolt spacing for the pulley. Was very minor to.

I found out that there is no difference. The reason I asked is because the autozone part number is not the same. The part number on the pump is the same though. I had a lifetime replacement water pump on an old truck I used to have and I needed a new pump for a mustang so I just used the truck warranty and got a free one.

I lied. The plate is different. The pumps are identical though.
