This is a pretty shitty thing to do to acouple of people who traveled over 3hrs in a snow storm to buy parts off you so you can pay your mortage that day!

Why didn't you take the parts when you were there? If you forgot them its not his responsibility to send them to you. He should call you back and tell you this, I will give you that. I have dealt with Todd many times and he has always done me right.

First of all I spent over 3 hrs in a snow storm getting to his house so he could make his house payment with the money. Trying to help the guy out! I got there and had to make another stop an hour north.

He told me everything was ready to go and we both loaded the parts up in my Van, I was in a hurry and should've double checked everything. That is my falt. When i realized I didn't have the part (cause he didn't take the part off the hatch), I contacted Todd about the part......He realized he made a mistake and didn't take it off and said he would ship it out to me on the following monday, I said that works for me.

I never have recieved the part which was paid for! and have never recieved a reply after a month of trying to contact him.

So you may want to get your facts straight before you start commenting on something you know nothing about. I'm glad he has always treated you well on your transactions.

Some have stated he's having phone problems? I'd think for someone who works from home he'd have that taken care of in a months time.

Maybe I just need to pay him a visit.

I don't know the OP or Todd, but I have to say that this is the most retarded, shady logic I've ever heard of when dealing with USED parts...

It sounds to me like the guy bought a bunch of parts and a smaller part slipped by that the purchaser didn't see was missing.

Either way, when dealing with used parts, if a seller includes a part that he says he'll sell you for an agreed price, IMO it is 100% up to the seller to make sure that part is included, ESPECIALLY if he agreed to pull the parts himself.

That's like buying a car and having it shipped to you, and having it show up with several parts missing that the seller said were there. Is it up to the purchaser to make sure everything is there when he gets it? Sure, but what do you try and do to get that part? You make contact with the seller and get it worked out.

Hasn't this run it's course? The OP logged his complaint in the correct forum and whether you agree or disagree is irrelevant. He's still missing a part he paid for and anyone who says it's no big deal is complacent because it wasn't their money that was spent. He was at fault for not taking the part with him, and Todd is at fault for not sending it like he said he would. What else is there to talk about?

I woud've paid for 100% of the shipping of the part, TODD said he would ship it out and never asked for any shipping charges! ((read the PM's)).

I never got the chance to pay for shipping cause the coward wouldn't anwser his phone! And i had 2 #'s on him.

I'm done with trying to defend myself to abunch of people who just want to act like they know what they are talking about. I provided feedback as allowed by this forum of a transaction. I'm sorry your friend wouldn't give me the chance to obtain a part i purchased from him in good faith. Fucking deal with it.

I've already picked up another part to replace the one TODD couldn't provide. So I've moved on..........
