View Full Version : Drunk Driver
The other night my sister was involved in horrible wreck on Nilles Rd, she was was hit by a drunk driver who later died at the hospital. He was only 38 years old, had 5 kids & no F'ing insurance!!! She is sore & has a few cuts & air bag burns, however it didn't have to happen, they estimated his speed at over 70mph. I feel for his family, however he didn't take them into consideration when he got behind the wheel. Now my sister & her insurance company have to fit the bill for all the damage done to her & her vehicle. I will add thank GOD for side curtain air bags, or she would have probably been killed also.

That sucks. glad to her your sister is doing ok. Its a shame that people drink and drive and it only hurts the ones that love them. No consideration at all.

Wow... makes you sit back and think for a while. I'm glad these newer cars are getting safer.

This is why i quit drinking altogether 10 years ago. I saw it happen to people i grew up with too many times to let it happen to me. You can be the safest driver on the road but it's often the other guy causing the wreck.

Glad to hear your sister is Okay,
I got T'boned on RT 4 by a guy that was high last fall.
The only saving grace from the 50mph impact was that I was in a tall, heavy truck.
WTF, who would go 70mph on Nilles??? It's got that big curve, plus heavy police presence (close to station) and tons of traffic lights... He had to be wasted, did they release his BAC?

"krisk427" I assume?????
DUI is just a slap on the wrist....what about the guy from Mason who was just convicted of his 21st DUI???? He'd just got out after serving 4 years and now is gonna do 10 years.
How was he even allowed behind the wheel??? If he "borrowed" someones car they sould be held liable as well!
Hope your sister recovers well.
That's me, I gather you read it on WKRC? She is doing well, it's the mental part that will take awhile. No BAC or any other details yet, they have all three vehicles locked up in a garage for investigative purposes.
