This is my on going project... She's a '91 that was an aborted project and nothing more than a bare shell with worn out stock suspension and steering. The previous owner had started a "drag car project" but realized he had bit off more than he could chew after ripping it apart COMPLETELY. When I saved her, there wasn't a single wire left in the car, the only interior components still in was the dash and a hacked up Painless universal wiring harness laying all tangled up on the floor, no brake lines or fuel lines, and it had the stock fuel tank with a homemade sump.
Since then I have put in an AJE K member, tubular A arms, and CC plates. Strange Struts and coil over kit. FR manual rack and steering shaft with bump steer kit. Converted to manual windows. Rebuilt teh 8.8 with 4.10 gear set, Moser 31 spline shafts, c-clip eliminators, full spool and diff cover with bearing cap supports. The rear suspension has Hotchkis boxed lower arms and single adjustable uppers, Eibach drag launch springs with bag in rt side, and Comp Eng. adjustable shocks. Converted to 5 lug. I also put in a Strange manual master cylinder, Aerospace rear disc kit, cross drilled frt rotors, Hurst line lock, Wilwood adj prop valve all plumbed with seamless stainless hard lines, braided stainless flexible lines and -AN fittings thru out the entire system. I also put Billet Specialty Street Lites on with BFG Radial T/A's for now.
The car will be going in for a new cage, full length custom thru floor sub frame connectors, and mini tubs in the next week or two. Mini tubs means changing up the rear suspension and wheel/tire combos, but it'll be worth it.

This is the condition when we picked her up.

Thanks! I know it wont be done any time soon but it'll be worth all the work when I do take it out for the first time. The price was right and the car has NO rust, which is hard to find around here, so I couldn't let her die lol. I should've taken better "before" pics so I could show how much of a difference has been made even to this point. If you had seen it in person the day I brought it home, you would agree that it doesn't look like the same car at all.
