I am tossing around getting some cams for my 98 Cobra. I was wondering what is a good cam for it? I want something with a good sounding lobe to it and is still street friendly.

anyone have experience with these bump sticks? How are the power gains and how much is Mid idle??

Do they really require a new mass air meter, injectors, and exhaust?

Or could a good tune take care of this?

Have you not already done the MAF and exhaust at least? If not, I'd do your basic bolt-ons before doing cams.

H pipe and mufflers are all. Long Tubes are in the very near future. Car currently has the stock MAF sensor. Does have 4.10 gears.

Figure your budget, then get Steeda tri-ax short shifter, long tubes, and SCT tuner and a tune. If you can afford cams too, get the tune after. With my mods I was at 300whp after a tune with the mods listed in my sig. TB was a waste but was done before I got the car.

Got the tri ax, can get a hook up on the long tubes, planed on getting the SCT and a tune, and have a friend who can get me a hell of a deal on comp cams.
