I have ran Tokico on two cars now. The first set on my '92 LX was the regular 5 way adjustable which I liked. Currently I have the Tokico D-Spec on my '94 and I like them just as much if not a little bit more. Good shocks/struts for a good price compared to others. Also both sets I bought off of ebay for a lot cheaper than typical mail order places.

I'd say depends on what your doing with the car. Tokico, Strange and KYB are all good performance shocks. If is your daily driver Monroe or even Gabriel would be fine.

This is my DD, is there really that much of a difference in performance between Monroe and KYB or tokico?

The nice thing with the adjustable Tokico is you can adjust them depending on what you are doing. Soften them up for street driving if you like and tighten them up when you want a more sports car feeling.

I don't know much about the Tokico....but I do have a set of KYB's all the way around on mine. It is NOT a daily driver, however it does ride a little harsh (that could be the 13year old tires too) ha ha ha
Overall....KYB's not bad for the money if I remember right.
