Speed first bought us Pinks. Now they are bringing Forum Wars.

The new show is called "Forum Wars," and the premise is to give these big talkers track access to replace wimpy words with tire-smoking action. You think your pristine Dodge Challenger is better than a Mustang forum owner's Bullitt? You may have a chance to take it to the track to decide who's right, once and for all. The show is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Monday, April 5, with the inaugural episode pitting a Shelby Mustang GT500 against a Nissan 350Z. Drivers will hit the bends and take on the straightaways at a drag strip, so all bases are covered. Hit the jump to view Speed TV's 30-second show promo. Looks like this show could be interesting."

huh? It says in the video its just a blue Shelby GT, but the website says GT500. I was gonna say, a 350z would look like and idiot against a GT500.

Yeah, it would be cool, just have to start emailing, maybe see if Kelly has any connectioins over there anymore. I think that stangbangerz versus some LSX site would be pretty cool or even another mustang site. Just got to find out how it all goes down, how it works.

that's what I'm thinking. Maybe I could put my renegade engine in my real street chassis and see how that runs? Enough spray should get it down the track pretty quickly.

I dont think a renegade car will take the corners very well. Sounds like a cool show, cant wait to check it out.

I don't think it will be just a drag show. It looks like there might be a couple of different events. The video showed some autocross.

We just need a healthy balance between corner carving and drag racing. Kevin Doe for the cornering, Mike Bell for the drag racing part!!!!

I believe you can set the parameters yourself. I don't believe it's anything set in stone. But that will wait to be determined. Have to get in contact first, see what they expect. I can build anything need be.
