Need advice on grommets.

I'm having some trouble finding the right size grommet for my oil breather cap. The breather cap fits but the grommet is a bit loose they are the same size as the old ones that came off.

Anyone else have/had this problem? And what did you do to make the oil breather cap fit a little bit more snug so it wouldn't dance around on the valve cover when the motor is running?

What valve covers and cap are you running?

I have used o-rings before, with success. I just took the breather cap to a hardware, or auto parts store and found one that would work.

Motorcraft valve covers and Ford Racing breather caps. The grommet fits the caps just fine, it's the breather cap fitting the valve cover hole that I'm having trouble with. But I will take my cap up to the auto store today and see if I can find a bigger grommet to fit the v/c hole :bigthumb
