Okay I know this is a Mustang site but I just had to express my opinion on this car.

IT IS BAD ASS!

Our lease is almost up on our Grand Caravan, so we are needing to replace it. We went to Dave Dennis Dodge today to look at the new vans...which with a 4.0 are peppy for a mini van. We also wanted to look at the Journey R/T. Well it took all of 3 minutes to realize the Journey was not going to work out. So next we drove the new Grand Caravan. Many improvements over our 2007 especially in the drivetrain.

Then I drove a plum crazy purple Challenger R/T 6spd. The car had some retro Craiger looking 20" wheels and the white R/T stripes down the side. That car was just bad ass. Smooth and nice handling....for a tank of a muscle car. Nice looks and very comfortable...but not practical with 4 little ones. Of course then I start thinking I could sell off one of the Stangs and buy a used mini van.

Before I left I drove the Charger R/T with the Road and Track pack. Another great car, but being an auto not as much fun as the Challenger.

Now I would love to go out and buy a new 2011 5.0, but I need at least three seatbelts in the back so that at least the wife or I can haul them all when needed.

But no worries tomorrow I am meeting with Terry (Beefcake) to see what deal we might be able to put together on a Ford Flex. We have test drove a regular Flex but I am curious to how one with the Eco Boost will run. So we shall see tomorrow morning.

I love the new challengers they are sweet as hell. I wish they would change it up a little and make a Cuda, I would be all over that.

I can't wait to get a hold of one at the track. There's a guy around here with a black one and we've caught each other several times on 125 but we're both wise enough not to get stupid. I really like them....they're way better looking than the new Camaro which IMO is a complete flop in the looks dept. The 2011 Mustang has my vote for the sickest domestic car out right now.

Their great looking cars, I just ran one at the track in my DD and he was pushing high 12's. Those RT's moved out pretty quickly.

They have a new appearance package with a non-functional hood scoop and stipes similar to the old AAR Cuda's. I have not seen one on the street but they had several on the lot.

Well they do move out great, but its typical Mopar, make a land yatch and put a bunch of power in it. I'd take a GT, then SS, then an rt if I had to choose between the 3...

I would take the Mustang first too...if it would seat 5. That is the only reason I put the R/T on top.

You too and thanks for the overnight test drive...I think it was just what we needed.

That was my first choice but honestly they are just boring looking...like a mini-van . I also liked the dark blue with the white roof. But the only one is stock had a "tan" like interior that just was not for me.

It is hard to tell in these pics but it is actually a candy color that really looks great in the sun light. It also goes more for the 50's retro look these were copied off of. I have already priced out a set if Eibach springs for it and after one of the Stang's sell probably a set of chrome wheels for it.
