Bad vibration in the truck from about 2100rpm to 3000 rpm with anything over slow acceleration. soon as it hits 3k its smooth as ever. i cant tell where its coming from either. i need new pads in the front brakes so it shakes a bit when i slow down but im starting to think its a coil going bad? am i way off on that?

Is this in every gear or just high gear????

Have you checked the U Joints lately???? (speed dependent)

Common problems I find...Motor mounts, they like to fail and cause vibrations. Also the rear output shaft bushing on the 5spd transmissions is known to fail. Being RPM related it could be a coil or plug wire. Or a busted clutch damper.

it seems to be in every gear, it is an auto btw
