Hi
Tactical defense institute hosted a Fun and Gun for OFCC Saturday. What a great bunch of people. Safety #1 of course. Being able to recreate a scenario that you might encounter in life and act on it... priceless.
Learned a bunch and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

To be able to draw and move, is great practice. :)

It was a special event to help fund OFCC (http://ohioccwforums.org/index.php) it was $100 plus 300 to 400 rounds of ammo. It was a ball. My daughter and I did it and she had never drawn from a holster, she had fun. They taught both of us the correct way and then spent extra time with her to get things right. The instructors are first class. Next year it will up up north in Rochester Ohio, I think, then back to TDI.
TDI has classes all the time. they are around West union, out rt. 32 east of Cincy. They have a live fire building and steel plate targets and lots of stuff. In the LFH, we held a baby (doll) :) and put a key to a door then had to drop the key, draw and drill some targets!! It was Fun. :D

TDI is top notch. I know quite a few folks that have taken classes there. Have been meaning to go out there myself just haven't had time to get there and take some courses.

Real life training is far different than that of just standing in a lane shooting at a stationary target.

Black92lx, got to know from the LEO side, are they worth a poop? Their active shooter stuff that I saw is way outdated! Trust me on this one, there is new stuff coming, if you want to know more, IM me. But for the average person, stuff looked good, from their website at least.

I haven't made it to their place yet but know quite a few people that have gone through and said it was top notch.
Pretty much all the instructors are current LEO.
