79 mustang

i currently have a 79 mustang i am working on slowly. slowly mainly cuz i am a highschool student still and money is an issue for me. right now it has a 200ci inline 6 with a c3 auto trans and 7.5 rear end. my dad and me rebuilt top end of the engine last summer replaced breaks added new starter i added some extra sond system components my friends and i had ( house speakers as rears 6inch house sub 450W amp and a sony explode deck) i plan to put a big eye front end on get some draglites projector headlights sound system ( full alpine i want) new seats if i can find a 302 tranny and rear end for the right price hopefully that as well. i allso smoked my tail lights and my side markers

A set of Welds, LX taillights and a 5.0 5 speed donor car and your set! You can find some wrecked ones pretty cheap. Good luck and keep us posted.

im not a fan of the lx tails but yeh i wana get some weld draglights 15x7 or 15x8 with 225/60/15 and i agree i need a 5.0 donner car but dad wont let me. i had a chanse to get a 80 mustang gt hatch. body was to shit but engine was strong. he says we have to many vehicals as it is 79 mustang 87 chrysler fith ave ( demo car) 98 explorer 04 f150

Its all in your own preference. Its your car so do what you like! I like the coupes no matter what year. Just have fun with it.

yeh i plan to have this looking good by the time i get my drivers. i dont even have my learners yet :( and im 17 allmost 18 :(
