In an effort to attract new racers to our series, we are now offering a solution to the membership fee debate. Racers who choose not to participate in the points system do not have to pay a membership fee to race in the Outlaw Street Madness series. By doing so, they forfeit any right to points, contingency, and other awards for either the year end or per event or both, depending on how awards are set up. If you choose to race without points and then you decide at the next event you want to enter, you can pay your membership fee then. But points wouldn’t accumulate till the event you joined. Non-points members may still attend the year end banquet.
Also, there will be a one time only membership of $40.00 to race in the points series. Racers DO NOT need to pay an additional membership fee as stately previously to run in two or more classes. Racers who have paid for two memberships will be refunded the extra membership fee. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and I hope to see a great turnout this Sunday for our opening event!
