Need HELP Mass Air Conversion

I did a MAF conversion on the 88. I have double checked all connections, I removed the plug attached to the throttle body and started the car then re attached the plug. I have drove this thing hard a few times and it still idles at about 3000 RPM I have double checked the speed sensor connection on the drivers side. They are soldered connections.

I am at a loss what to do next to get this thing to work right.

Any suggestions?

A little info needed, what did you use to convert over and what wiring have you done so far. As I can remember I just used a bbk harness that I had to tap into the factory harness with. I believe two of the pins had to go directly into the computer while the other 2 I spliced. Check your grounds especially where the computer sits in the floor board area
