issues

so my car,01 mustang g.t., will run really good one day n the next it just feels slow n sluggish. any ideas ? it don't smoke,gets aroung 21 m.p.g.,just gets wierd sometimes. wouldn't even get 2nd gear rubber today lol. it's a 5 spd. with a c.a.i.,o/r h,flowmaster cat back,nice shifter,n a set of 3.55's.

hey buddy and sounds maybe like a fuel issue, maybe needs a tune up but hard to say man with out seeing it and nice looking car man

get some rubbing alcohol and some qtips and clean the maf meter and the IAT sensor too. With most CAI systems the oil from the filter will collect on the sensor and build up can happen faking the MAF. Might want to consider changing some basics if you haven't like fuel filter and a good set of plugs would help eliminate some things.

cool, thanks i will try that. i've had the car less than a year and don't know if its ever had a tune up or anything.and i will clean that stuff up too. i noticed yesterday that my filter was FILTHY also.
