I've had the car for about 2 years now and have slowly been modding it but I decided to drop some coin and make it a little faster.

Will get some pics up soon. Hopefully installing the nitrous and cams this week then a tune at Cincy speed next week. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Putting the long tubes on is fun aint it!! I put the BBK long tubes on my 03 in the driveway and it took me 2 days. I didnt drop the K-member so that would`ve made it easier. Looks good so far!

My window switch is set to turn on at 3,000 and shut off at 6,000 and my rev limiter is set at 6,500. Do you have a tach adapter yet?

I thought LS1 headers were bad...but nothing compared to 23 hours lol. I'd say me and my buddy spent 6 hours, but we were drinking and I'm pretty sure we spent 2 hours trying to lengthen the 02's with a wal-mart welder thingy and a lighter....LOL. I'm amazed this car still runs.

Yes. Bottle warmer. Otherwise you'll be inconsistent as fuck when you spray. One run you'll be a 125 (or w/e you're spraying) shot. Next run you may only be spraying a 75 shot. Bottle pressure is key man. Don't be a fool and run around with a blow torch in your trunk...lol

I dont know how your window switch gets it tach signal, mine is a msd brand and i had to buy a tach adapter to convert my tach signal to one the the window switch could read. Because the facorty signal is a different type. It was autometer part # 9117 it was like 75 bucks.

And dont buy a zex warmer, thats what i have and it SUCKS, it wont even keep my bottle at 900psi(ill be buying a new one soon). a purge kit is a good idea too.

Just depends on how the switch plugs in or wires up. And yeah if i could go back i would have bought a NX express kit instead. Zex is way to safe of a kit. Like right now i am running a 150 shot on a 125 shot tune. And cant really tell a difference. Except went about .15 faster in the 1/4.

How much does that extra 25 shot add to your traps though? Might help on the street if things go past a 1/4 mark!

Have you considered dropping any weight to make up for it being a smaller shot? Rear seats, spare, jack still in the car?

Ya, it makes a difference. Tire and jack in my car are like 37-38lbs together. Rear seat is like another 15.

Well, tearing into the car tonight. Pulling plugs, COPs, intake, all wiring, power steering pump, fuel rails and lines, valve covers and hopefully timing cover off. Dropping in the cams tomorrow hopefully and degreeing.

Damn Spencer that sucks on the tensioner, it looked damn good too. Was it the plastic piece that separates the two halves or was it something on the inside. I guess lesson learned the hard way, sorry dude.

Well, car was dynoed and tuned today at Dayton 5.0 Performance. Other than pegging the MAF, running out of injectors and needing a new pump, it made decent numbers.

Swapped the stock intake manifold back on so I'm thinking its gonna gain a few ponies with the stock intake back on it better suited to the cams. Also gonna swap in a focus pump, 80mm, different CAI, and 24lb injectors for a retune and hopefully see 300.

Stock they dyno 220-225 through a 5 speed. Im hoping it makes a little more than 300 with the intake swap It feels like it picked up quite a bit.

What correction factor did they use on the dyno? Was it a Dynojet? Do you have a graph of the run? I'm just curious how it compares to my car. I have less power and fewer mods though.

I do not have copy of the dyno grapg because I am gonna get it dynoed again with the plastic pi intake on it. It was a dynojet and it was SAE corrected.

If you can feel it I'd say it's at least 10hp or so. I know when I put the LS6 on when I was mostly stock I could feel a significant hit at 3000+ rpms.
